1. The very good service provided to us at breakfast by Jeff, the Captain Waite. He is polite, friendly, accommodating, and always has a smile for his guests. Coffee and tea were served the way we liked them. He remembered our requests from Day 1. He made sure we were very satisfied.
2. The other staff, from the reception, housekeeping, to the pool attendants and lifeguards, made the efforts to ensure our grievances were resolved in a timely manner. It was very unfortunate that our 4 nights and 5 days stay at a 4-star Hue Hotels and Resort in Boracay turned into nightmarw experiences that any guest should never experience from Day 1 until checkout.

The staff at the Red Coco were so friendly and informative. We were able to check in right away and they had a little screen welcoming all new guests with their names which was cute. The beds were very comfy and we had a little balcony with drying racks which was good.

Nice stuff, good location. Nice but little balcony. Same as on the booking.com pictures.
Within walking distance from the crowded part of the beach, but every good restaurant is 2 minutes walk from it. Or less.

A special shoutout to Cha and all the front office staff (including the Ferra Garden). They are all friendly and very accommodating including the OJT staff. Also to the housekeeping staff who make sure our room is clean and that we have clean and dry towels. Thank you to Mark and Paul who are so attentive during breakfast. A compliment to the chef as the food was DELICIOUS 😋👌. We ordered Nasi Goreng twice 😊. Breakfast was also great. Our favorite facility is the pool in Ferra Garden ❤️ it was big and clean.

Boracay is a great place to visit with a zillion things to do apart from nothing. From stations obecto three there's lots of places to stop and eat and of course a cold beer is always available
One should go there to just experience the island as the well laid out organized transport from and to the airport,

Boracay is a world class beach. No exaggeration.
Boracay is a world class beach. No exaggeration. Beautiful white sand and crystal clear water. All kinds of activities. Family friendly and lots for adults also. My advice is if you want quiet at night stay at station 2 and take a trike to station 1 to party. Do a boat tour, snorkeling all kinds of activities are available. My favorite activities were enjoying the water and sitting on the beach in the shade watching the ocean and people. Don’t expect all the amenities in your hotel you might be used to except in the highest end hotels but you’re not exactly camping either.

Every beach station in Boracay offers different vibe to the tourists. If you prefer a laid back, less crowded and very efficient service in restos and bars go to Station 1 or 3. But if you like to party and crowds, Station 2 is for you.

Traveling around Boracay was quite simple.
Traveling around Boracay was quite simple. We walked the short distance of two to three minutes to reach the white beach from our station 2 lodging. It's a gorgeous beach with loads of things to see and buy, and of course, you can't visit Boracay and not wear braids! The natives provided so many different activities. Because so many locals in Boracay offer their services when you arrive, you don't need to make reservations online. There are too many restaurants to select from, so I'm sure you'll all enjoy it. Boracay's population is incredibly kind and personable. The cost of food, lodging, and other purchases was exactly perfect. Although station 2 was the busiest due to the location of the white beach, station 3 was currently my favorite location, however all stations were excellent. Happy hours were in full swing, and we naturally didn't pass up the buffet with a live band on the beach. It was quite pleasant! Everyone of you ought to go to Boracay! You'll undoubtedly convince yourself that you'll return soon:-)

1. Several beautiful public beaches. Ilig Iligan, White Beach, and Puka were my favourites.
2. Great sunsets (watched at White Beach)
3. Lots of restaurants with tasty food and good live entertainment.
4. Public transportation is readily available. (Hop on-Hop off is useful if you're into that. Did it once. 24-hour pass is about 250 PHP. 100 PHP for the bikes and electric rides.
5. Friendly people generally (if you look different, get used to stares, waving, or people shouting things from afar to get your attention)
6. Scenic trek and lots of exercise because of the hilly green terrain
7. Decent nightlife (partied at Epic mostly)
8. Lots of police officers around, especially at the beach, so it feels safe, even if you are solo.
Less likeable
1. Have to prepare yourself for an 'Are we there yet?' type of feeling. After flying, multimodal transportation is still needed (bus, boat, bus)
2. Have to be careful of price gouging (inflated tourist prices), so ask your hotel or someone you trust for information ahead of use.
3. Lots of people selling who sometimes don't take no for an answer. Sometimes feels like harassment (even by the feisty kids).
My room was spacious and had direct view of the pool and beach. The room and bathroom both felt homely and comfortable. Location was perfect - we had direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches (White Beach) and reasonably far away from most of the crowd in Station 2. We had the most amazing sunsets due to the hotel facing west.
Despite being located in Station 1, the main shopping areas of Station 2 was still accessible by foot (roughly 15 minutes walk).
The staff were helpful and kind, and happy to assist with any inquiries.
The location of the hotel is near D'mall and station 1. It is also a beach front property with a balcony facing the beach.
Room is very spacious for 6 people. The room is clean. Balcony has a ok view since a lot of trees are covering up the beach view. Beds are clean and ok. Comfort room and bathroom is ok. Fridge is working. Aircon downstairs is cold. Table is provided and lots of chairs. Towels are provided. Price is great. Lots of convinience stores when you go out. Near restaurants.
The staff customer service was exceptional. They also organised transport from airport to the hotel which made our travel easy. The complimentary ice tea upon arrival was lovely! They always greeted you with a smile wherever you go. Breakfast was delicious (wish it wasn’t a pre-order because you don’t really know what you want the rest of your stay). The restaurant also has the best ribs we’ve had on Boracay! It was 10 minute walking distance from white beach and D’mall which was great.
Nice quiet place and quiet room. The staff accomodated all my request. Access to free drinking water, good breakfast and I would have rented the penthouse on long-term basis if I could have brought my vehicle on the island but you can't. Close to the beach and bar on the beach. Nice concrete walk along the beach to station 1 plus you don't get bothered by marchant when you're on the beach like station 2. I think I got a king-size bed with a big room plus single bed/couch.
Best hotel for the price !
Ok.. it isn't a 5-star hotel, but for the money, what you paid was definitely the best hotel we stayed in. We have stayed in more stars hotels and definitely had worse feelings than in Urban Hotel !
The staff are absolutely amazing
The location- about 10 mins walk to the white beach ( it's in nice and quiet street)
Breakfast - very good , freshly cooked every morning.
Will definitely stay there again
The breakfast buffet was amazing. Everyday was different and it was very delicious. The view from the restaurant is beautiful . The staff were really nice as well. The beach is literally behind the hotel and walking distance to many stores and restaurant. The area is more calm than station 1 or 2, I really like this area actually. I enjoyed Astoria Current and will definitely come back next time.
Great staff
Super clean, great housekeeping
Amazing location, just a few steps from white beach, shops, bars, laundry, beach club etc
Balcony
Complementary beach towels
THE ABSOLUT BEST restaurant / burger joint downstairs. Do not leave without trying their amazing burgers.
Same restaurant provides hotel breakfast for n the morning - by far THE BEST breakfast I had in the Philippines!!
Located at Station 1. The hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. With the assistance, the hotel arranged our transportation to and from the airport. It can be confusing for ex-pats - planes, shuttles, boat rides. All in all, It was an easy transition. Morning filipino and continental breakfast buffet- no issues, all delicious with eggs to order.
Staff were exceptional in providing room and other service.
Room was enormous and daily cleaning excellent.
Hotel was located about a 5-minute walk from White Beach, away from the noise.
Swimming pool is small, but still fun to use.
Hotel organised a quick tour of the island with a reliable, knowledgeable driver.
The staff was kind and welcoming to me, my partner, and my dog Elvis. The best hospitality I’ve received from any hotel in the Philippines, and I’ve stayed in places like Shangri-La multiple times. There is a real family-friendly vibe with a professional approach, and I will stay here again.
We loved the hotel. It is located in a quiet area, 3 minutes from the beach at Station 1. The staff were extremely kind and the vibe of the place is really nice and chilled. Would definitely stay here again.
Everything! The service was amazing, the staff were so friendly and courteous, the location is peaceful and picture perfect, the food is so good! Personally, one of the best hotels on the island.
Shangri La Boracay still and will always be the best resort hotel in Boracay. The resort staff, facilities and overall management of the resort is impeccable.
